Kiwi Energy and the Ecogold Environmental Fund are Excited to Participate and Support Green Guerrilla’s Youth-Powered Urban Farm in Crown Heights
Green Guerrillas uses a unique mix of education, organization, and advocacy to help people cultivate community gardens and much more. In the early 1970’s Green Guerillas began rallying people to use community gardening as a tool to reclaim urban land and bring people together to solve problems that plagued urban neighborhoods. Today, they are the oldest community garden organization in New York City. The Youth-Powered Urban Farm grows thousands of pounds of food, empowers youth, and allows them to manage a CSA while providing healthy food to Crown Heights and East Flatbush residents.
