Earth day is on its way! Observed annually on April 22nd, more than 1 billion people worldwide take part in what is currently the largest civic-focused day of action on the planet.

Many of us may be trying to figure out how to get involved during this very special and important day. We’re pleased to tell you that there are countless easy ways for you to celebrate Earth Day that can make a difference all year long!

#1: Give your car the day off (or better yet – every day, weather permitting of course) and opt for a more eco-friendly mode of transportation such as walking, biking, or even carpooling with a colleague

#2: Locate a responsible electric waste recycler in your area to drop off your outdated or broken electronics, and even offer to bring your neighbor’s e-waste along with you

#3: Grow your own organic food

#4: Ensure that you’re leveraging LED light bulbs for all your indoor and outdoor lighting

#5: Choose sustainable energy
